The scene where three seamstresses, wishing for the bride's happiness, tangle her hair while painstakingly sewing the hem of the wedding dress is particularly memorable. The scene where a male reporter who has no interest in fashion is overjoyed to see the seamstresses is the perfect moment to understand the wonder of slow fashion.
At the same time, the film also offers a glimpse into the social situation in post-war Paris, including homophobia, discrimination against women, and men who had lost their confidence due to the war.
